Hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida, The Ries Brothers blend rock, blues, funk, and reggae into a soulful, high-energy sound that has earned them a loyal following nationwide. Brothers Charlie and Kevin Jordan Ries create a dynamic live experience with powerful vocals, guitar, drums, keyboard bass, ukulele, and melodica.
The duo first gained attention touring with legendary band CHICAGO before going full-time with their music career. Since then, they’ve shared stages with artists including G Love & Special Sauce, Stick Figure, Pepper, Galactic, Stephen Marley, 311, Iration, O.A.R., and David Shaw of The Revivalists, while appearing at major festivals such as Okeechobee, Cali Roots, Hulaween, Shaky Knees, and Sweetwater 420 Fest.
Known for pushing musical boundaries, The Ries Brothers have collaborated with members of The Lumineers, Gary Clark Jr.’s band, 311, and Julian Marley. Their music has landed on Spotify’s “Nu Blues” playlist and even in Tampa Bay Rays home games.
With a new album arriving in 2026 featuring collaborations with Big Something, Andy Frasco, and RDGLDGRN, plus a headline tour and major festival appearances, The Ries Brothers continue to establish themselves as one of the most exciting rising acts on the live music scene.
